Bryan Paar, Executive Director of Athletic Operations: PERSEVERANCE
“Bryan Parr has exemplified LSU’s core values through his dedication, leadership, and resilience in managing multiple high-profile athletic events simultaneously. Over the past year, he has served as the Facility and Game Manager for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Gymnastics—a feat that most would find challenging even individually. Despite the relentless demands of these events, he operated without complaint, rarely taking a day off, and continuously supported and motivated his staff to ensure each event's success.
Bryan also took on the role of Tournament Director for the NCAA 1st and 2nd Rounds of the Women’s Championship, overseeing every aspect of the event’s execution. This national-stage event required meticulous planning, coordination across multiple departments, and real-time problem-solving—all of which he handled seamlessly.
Bryan embodies our core values at the highest level. His ability to push forward, support his staff, and deliver championship-caliber results makes him a model of perseverance and leadership within LSU Athletics.” ~nominated by Julie Cribbs
