Finding Your Healthcare Career!

Athletes make the best employees…they possess a unique combination of discipline, resilience, and teamwork. They often have great work ethic and are driven to succeed. We know how well they can juggle their time having been expected to hold full course loads while participating in the high demands of sport. And they can adapt to change quicker than your average employee!

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center is hosting a half-day event for student-athletes interested in the healthcare workforce. Participants will:

• Connect with physicians, nurses, therapists, administrators, and other healthcare professionals

• Gain hands-on experience in LSU’s simulation lab

• Practice life-saving skills such as patient resuscitation
  This immersive visit helps student-athletes explore careers in medicine, nursing, allied health, healthcare administration, public health, and beyond.
