October 1st: Is it Complicated or Coercive Control? Recognize, Assess, Plan, and Prevent Violence for Student and Campus Safety

Virtual workshop facilitated by Thecia Jenkins

Open to all LSU System campuses, but registration is required.

12 PM - 1 PM (Zoom)

"Relationships can be complicated, but some behaviors may be signs of something more concerning. Join us for a conversation about recognizing coercive control and other unhealthy or abusive behaviors, thinking through ways to support safety, and exploring what healthy, respectful relationships can look like."

October 13th: Gameday for Change (2nd Annual)

11 AM - 2 PM on Tower Drive

Field day-inspired event with the purpose of engaging our campus community in preventing relationship violence, supporting one another, and connecting students with resources that can help.

October 22nd: Mixed Messages: The Memes, Themes, and Things We Sing

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM (Location TBD)

An interactive program exploring covert messages about relationship violence in digital media and popular culture.
