LSU Athletics Puts CAP Grant to Work!

Our research teams associated with the newly formed Institute for the Health & Performance of Champions (IHPC), has benefitted from funding awarded by the Collaboration in Action research initiative. We have now accelerated growth and opened exploration into ways we can prevent adverse health outcomes and best improve the well-being and performance of Tactical (Warfighters, Astronauts, Firefighters and other members of the Emergency Services) and Operational (Energy and Agriculture Industry Members) athletes. These populations are exposed to unique sets of physiological, psychological and environmental stressors, that require unique sets of solutions.
