October 2026: Student-Athletes of the Month

Transitioning to a college campus in a new country—or transferring from another collegiate program or high school—comes with challenges. New systems, new roles, new expectations, and new ways of doing things can feel daunting. But growth happens when you’re willing to ask for support, communicate, learn, and adapt.

These Tigers are showing what it takes to thrive. They embrace the learning curve, build new skills, put in consistent effort, and recognize that asking for help is a strength—not a weakness.

Success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes initiative, open communication, a willingness to adjust, and the discipline to keep showing up and doing the work.

They’re not just navigating change. They’re learning to own it.

Because at LSU, we know that the ability to adapt, communicate, and put in the work is what turns challenges into opportunities—and effort into results.

The LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes (CCACSA) recognizes student-athletes for their scholastic and community achievements each month. Student-athletes are chosen based on their commitment to academic success and for their devotion to volunteerism and service to the community.
