TeamCate began as an act of love to help an 11-year-old St. Jude patient find a life-saving bone marrow donor match. Cate has battled bone marrow failure her entire life, and now, after developing a significant TP53 mutation, she is searching for a perfect donor match for a bone marrow transplant.

Joining the donor reigistry is simple, painless, and takes less than 5 minutes. To sign up, you answer a few health questions, swab the inside of each cheek, and confirm that you want to join the registry- that’s it! In just a few minutes, you can help save the life of Cate or another patient in need.

Cate’s friends and family are organizing a swab event on LSU’s campus with one goal: to find Cate’s match and give her a second chance at life. Every new person who joins the registry brings hope- not just for Cate, but for patients everywhere still searching for their match.
