TLC: November- Social Media & Cyber-Bullying

Social media can be a powerful tool for connection—but it can also quietly chip away at our mental well-being. Constant comparison, curated perfection, and the pressure to always be "on" can lead to anxiety, low self-esteem, and feelings of inadequacy. It's okay to take a step back, set boundaries, and protect your peace. Your mental health matters more than likes or followers.

When the likes and followers stop, it can feel like your value or voice has disappeared—but that’s not the truth. The validation we receive from social media can create a false sense of worth, making us tie our identity to digital reactions. When that attention fades, it can leave behind feelings of emptiness, self-doubt, or even anxiety and depression. But your worth has never been defined by numbers on a screen. You matter beyond the posts, beyond the likes, beyond the followers. Real connection, self-worth, and purpose come from who you are—not who watches.
