Athletics Operations: EXCELLENCE

“Our indoor track serves as a one stop place for any and all random events, outside of track, that take place, including cheerleading camps, graduation, pancake socials. Which means the track items in our facility are taken down and reset frequently. One of those items are pole vault standards (used frequently by World Record holder Mondo Duplantis), which are tall and very heavy. Because of the frequent take down and set up, they get misaligned and out of whack. Our facility group, too many to name, they asked what was wrong with them and after I showed them, they spend a good 30 minutes getting them righted. It's the details of that kind of stuff that matter. Shout out to all those guys and thanks for your diligence. And I'll see you all soon because it'll be pancake day soon.” ~ nominated by Todd Lane

“For the LSU vs. Florida game the entire crew stopped what they were doing and helped pass out wristbands at the student gate when it opened. The wristbands were crucial to the game in terms of physically putting them on the students, so their help was huge!” ~nominated by Savannah May
